Dolphin Active 30i - bad PCB board

Hi,

Active 30i stopped working today. It starts and goes in reverse for about 5 seconds then forward for about 5 seconds then stops working. LED also stopped flashing. About 4 years old recently replaced the cord.

Decided to open up the motor and found water in the unit both motors still work yet looks like the pcb board was wet and possibly bad. Looking for recommendations from our experts here.

Yes, tried calling them but no answer today. Will try again tomorrow morning.

You’ll have to buy an entirely new motor assembly, about $400 or so. Maytronics nor any of their distributors sells sub-components.

You could try cleaning the board with Isopropyl Alcohol.

At least one of those tiny capacitors (C2) looks like it burst. Also looks like a good bit of shorting out between some of the terminals on a couple of the chips.

Thank you everybody did try to clean it with alcohol only to also find out that the propeller motor was also rusted and now does not work.. time for a new robot.. sad to see this one die. cost of new motor is $300. problem is Marina is out of the pentair warrior SI that would have been comparable..
