this is the “fix”. It’s an underground Hartford loop. In my unprofessional opinion, this does not look good. My concerns with this is trouble with winterizing, and dirt, settling and putting pressure on the flex pipe and causing another leak, if not major rupture. What are your thoughts on this “fix”, and how should it have been done. I am not the contractor that did this work.

Flex pipe should not be allowed. It should be solid PVC, other than that its fine.

Make sure this is backfilled with material that will not settle over time. No settling and it will be fine. I'm not a fan of the flexible PVC either. Sweep elbows would have been nice and probably would not have needed as many either.
