The pump runs all day and night. I can be standing next to my pool equipment which is 200ft from the neighbor’s equipment and hear their pump over mine. It’s low key driving me a bit mad. I have a VSP which even on its highest RPM setting is a whisper compared to this. Thoughts?

That bad boy won't last too much longer... You should go to your neighbor and mention their pump sounds like it's about to die and should be checked.
For context my equipment pad is in the enjoyable envelope of my pool area (not tucked in the back corner of the property line) and I can have it running at 3K with my heat pump running and it drowns into the environment as a hum. This thing sounds like a jet engine, I assume even for a SSP this is outside what is normal?
The lady moved in last year and I don’t recall the pump being this loud when the previous owner was there. It did sit a season closed so I’m not sure if something happened.
