Hi All, We've been storing 12 % chlorine in our basement during the freezing winter and want to move it outside.
At what temp might it freeze? It's starting to warm up here in Metro Detroit but more ice and freezing cold will hound us till late April.
Wondering if it is safe to put it outside now? And if all winter it could have been left out?
We kept the Muriatic acid outside in the back of the yard all winter but have not checked on it. In the garage and basement the chemicals had started to corrode metal so we want to get it in the backyard and not the garage or basement.
Thanks for all your help in advance. :lovetfp:

From Google ---

The freezing point depression of a 12% Sodium Hypochlorite solution (which also has 9.4% salt due to the manufacturing process of chlorine) is 15.3C or 27F so the freezing point is -15.3C or 5F.
