The Radiant winter cover SUCKS as it drops down a good 22” or so. Next year we close with large pillows so it doesn’t push so much water out.

need about 8k gallons. Might use our well with softened water, might call a truck which is nearly $400.

Not how that works. X pounds of water on a cover will exert X amount of pressure on the pool water regardless of some pillows in it. It will just push those pillows down in to the water instead.

Added about 12” of well water which we know has a high ph.

Added powdered cya a week ago and some 12.5% bleach.

So I add enough acid to drop pH to 7.0-7.2 and FC to 5.0. Aerating the last three days by pointing the eye up.

Today kid swims for about ten minutes.
Comes out covered in rash on his torso, mostly the chest.

pH is 8.4+++
FC near 0
No cc.
What gives?
