Does CYA, acid, chlorine tablets and other pool chemicals have a shelf life? I've been using just bleach for chlorine but I found a pretty good deal on HTH stuff at my local Walmart. Bought a 4lb container of CYA tonight for $5.27. They have ph - and tablets clearanced too. Just wondering if it would be worth me stocking up or if they would go bad before I got a chance to use them.

CYA does not expire. Keep it dry.
Tablets - you should not need many of those, but again, they do not expire if kept dry.
You should use muriatic acid, not sodium bisulfate (dry acid or pHMinus)

Dry acid will add sulfates to the water. Sulfates will build up over time and contribute to scaling, especially on a SWG cell.
