My pool install manual is calling for 3” of sand. My pool liner install manual install is calling for 2” of sand. It makes sense to me to follow the liner install, but would like to know if anyone else has faced this dilemma. Thanks!

I can't imagine it makes much difference and you can't keep the sand depth that precise. I would shoot for anywhere between 2 and 3 inches is fine.
