Hello again, everyone. New pool as of July 2022. When it opened, our pool builder put an INSTANT FROG under the skimmer basket and told us it was super helpful to do lots of magical things. Now that I have been reviewing this site and other research for a while, I have removed it at the end of its six-month life as I don't really think it's going to do anything helpful.
My question is this -- do I need to do anything to undo the effects this instant frog may have had -- particularly introducing metals into the water? I have read on here that the metals can have adverse effects. Do I now have more metals than I should in the water? Do they dissipate over time? Is this anything to look into or just move forward frog-free?
