My pool water is clear, I do not see any signs of algae etc. I tested today and results were as follows

FC: 3
CC: 1
PH: 7.5
CYA: 70

Yesterday my chlorine level was 6. I tend to keep it around 6-8. CC has been 0 to .5. Is the slight rise an indication I should SLAM? We have had a heavy bathing load and thunderstorms the past week.

Great!
Get some chlorine in that pool ASAP.
Use liquid chlorine. The SWG is great (usually) at maintaining chlorine levels, but not real good at raising them a significant amount.

Adding two gallons of 10% liquid chlorine will add about 8ppm FC to your 25,000 gallon pool.

Thank you! I’m adding it now. Then I should retest this evening and in the morning before sunrise and if I didn’t lose any overnight I don’t need to slam?

In addition to raising Chlorine I’d personally do an overnight loss test. Check your free chlorine after sunset, then check again ideally before sunrise or before direct sunlight hits the pool. If you have less than 1ppm FC loss you pass.

The 1ppm of Combined Chlorine makes me think something is living in there, that would determine if a SLAM is needed.

You got it in your reply. Also make sure your SWG is off overnight. All others look good.

Could just be barber load or something, but worth testing to confirm.
