This is good to hear. I did go out of town for 2 weeks but had a neighbor hitting the LC and acid. However, going away for 4 days, my CYA is still around 55. (I did dump 90% this summer and refilled but the plaster keeps a LOT). Only using LC since then and obviously not adding any pucks. I am thinking of adding 4 pucks before going away for 4 days but I'm now worry that something else is in the water. I've never seen FC even register on my Taylor kit so I always skipped it thinking if I have 2ppm or higher of chlorine, I should be good, no algae... but when it dips close to 1.0 on chlorine, I start seeing a lil green patches that disappear as soon as I bump it back to 3ppm or higher.
Should I do the OCLT and see where I'm at? Concerned. As usual lol

Moved from here.

Did you mean "CC"?

Yes, I would suggest an OCLT. Starting to see green is not a good sign.

Keeping your FC at 2ppm is not enough, with CYA 60 (round up when the result is inbetween two lines) you should target more like 7-9ppm, see the FC/CYA Levels.
