Probably a bad cell. Hopefully, the service person will bring both.

They should first confirm the actual salinity and then try a new cell.

If a new cell doesn't work, they should replace the board.

Thanks a lot ? I'll report back after the tech visit. I doubt they will bring a cell with them, the guy over the phone said they'll have to order the part but again he's not the one coming out so who knows.

What is the CH of your fill water?

Calculate your CSI using PoolMath

You want to start your CH towards the low end of the range since it will rise over time and you can only lower CH by draining. I would target CH of 250.

I would start with CH at 250 and see how much evaporation you have and how CH climbs during the year.
