Thinking about putting a float in my skimmer for an automatic pool filler. Anyone ever done this and if so how. Really don't care for the over the rail fillers. Thanks

It won't work well in the skimmer because once the pump turns on, the level in the skimmer drops (and swirls) so it would tend to overfill the pool.
But with an AG pool, it should be fairly easy to plumb a fill bucket into the side of the pool. The bucket would just need to be close to the water level height but it could be any distance away from the pool wall.
