Disposing of Backwash Water

I have a 24,000 gallon salt water pool with a DE filter. I am trying to figure out a way to get rid of the backwash water. Over the past couple of years I have run the discharge hose across the grass and let the water disperse there. The water has been discharged near some arborvitae trees that are not looking very good so I want to come up with a new way to get rid of the water. I have thought about burying 30 or 40 feet of corrugated pipe and putting the backwash discharge into that. I am not close enough to any sewer lines to put the water into the sewer system. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I fear you'll just fill the drain pipe with DE. Instead, how about minimizing the amount of water?

I backwash just long enough to fill the hose and see some discharge coming out. Then I shut the pump off and open the air bleed on the filter and let things drain. Then I open the filter and blast the grids with a spray nozzle to get the grids clean. The dirty water drains out. Your filter is a little different, mine has an internal backwash. Then reassemble and restart the pump. I let the water run until it comes out clear -- just a few seconds. Hardly any water at all to dispose of.
