Almost done leveling (thank God!)
I had to go down a few inches on one side and about 10” on the other. On theside I went down further, the soil is different than the shallow side. It’s a more sandy fill dirt rather than a topsoil type of dirt.
I am sinking 4 inch concrete blocks under the uprights. Using about an inch of stone dust under each block. Should I be concerned with the fact that the soil is different on the two sides of the pool?
I am trying to avoid trenching out two feet around the perimeter and placing stone dust around the whole perimeter.
The “sandier” fill still feels hard packed when it is dry, but is definitely looser when it is wet. Anyone foresee any problems if I just use stone dust under the blocks?
