I finished vacuuming pool floor which had acquired quite a bit of silt/sand. After doing so, I backwashed my DE filter 3-4 cycles until the backwashed water flowed clear. After turning the valve from "backwash" to "filter" in order to re-charge my filter with DE, I see dirty water flowing back into clean pool through the jets. I've done this 2 different times, thinking I did something wrong the first time (evidently I've done something wrong both times). I read the "How to backwash DE filter" tutorial in the forum area and I feel like I'm doing it correctly. Needless to say, I'm getting tired of watching my labors being pumped right back into the pool after cleaning it. What am I doing wrong or do I have some type of equipment failure (I'm hoping it's operator error)? Thanks in advance for any advice or feedback.
