I had been getting dirt in my pool. Thinking it was a broken layers I replaced al the laterals and center pipe. I also put on a new spider gasket. I STILL have dirt in the bottom of my pool. I know it’s coming from my filter because I tied a sock on the output and the dirt is not on the floor of the pool but the sock is DIRTY!!! Sock was bright white when I attached it a few hours ago.

Wow, that's a strange one. How did the sand look when you had it out? I'm wondering if a deep clean might be worthwhile to dislodge any fines in the sand?
