Didnt think about electricity in my pool plan?

Try the expandable in use cover & if you’re to plug in two of those big gfci cords see if they’ll fit side by side in a quad- in my experience they do not. So I usually suggest people add 2 separate receptacles

I cut the gfci plug off and replaced it with a norman 3 prong. Mine is plugged into a quad gfci receptacle.
This is what i did too - but the op has brand new equipment so it’s understandable not wanting to cut the cords off. - my stuff is old no warranty to be had -lol ?

Your deck receptacle is probably already a GFCI circuit, so no others would be needed. It may be a GFCI circuit breaker. It would be a good idea to know what else is on that circuit and where it’s GFCI device is located.
The post mounted receptacle box needs to have a ‘While in Use’ bubble cover.

Thanks for that and I'll do just that and report back. This place is really awesome because I was on the verge of giving up and couldn't push forward without all of you. Thanks everyone and I hope that this helps someone else too.
