This might sound kind of redundant but I have this WiFi timer hooked up to my pump and salt chlorinator now and it works great but I’d like to be able to integrate it with apple homekit which it can’t do right now. My question is could I just get a HomeKit compatible smart switch that runs in between this timer and the breaker? If read about using a relay/contactor and a switch but hoping maybe this timer acts the same as a contactor would. Not looking to do an entire new setup so if I’m unable to just add a smart switch in then I’ll just keep it as is and continue to use the timer app.
