My liner is old but Im going to limp it along for as long as possible. I have a hole on the bottom near the wall thats at least 1/2” wide. The problem is that the dirt (it’s been up for many years) under it has eroded away leave a nice place to set your beer…underwater. Its concave maybe 2” . I hat to take the old patch off (only a couple weeks old) which was easy. Thats when i realized i was out of glue. Doh! So i got creative and filled a large plastic bag with kitty litter and a mason jar full of water for weight and molded it to the hole . Before that dirt was flooding into the pool. I actually put the unglued patch under the kitty litter. I then put a heavy metal object in another bag and put it on top. It’s actually kinda working but still losing an inch or two a day and the top bag is now completely rust colored (oops). How do i patch a concave hole now that i have glue?
