Deep End Ladder Relocation Help

Hello, TFP has been such a big help, was hoping to get a little more We are redoing the patio around our inground vinyl pool and are considering relocating the Ladder that is in the Deep End. I posted a couple of pics to help visualize. When looking at the pool from the deep end the ladder is currently on the right side where there will be plenty of room to exit the ladder and walk around it (note that the child safety gate will be relocated). However, we would prefer the ladder to be on the left side next to the fence where it will be "out of the way". However clearance on that side is limited and I'm concerned that there may be some code requirements regarding clearance around the ladder. There is currently 5' from the edge of the pool to the fence, but realistically there will only be 3' feet clearance from edge to the trees (After I cut them back a bit

I figure I could get the type of ladder that mounts in the coping to save some space but have been looking for code requirements to verify that this will be ok and can not find any. (I understand that the new location would need to be Bonded) Also, if anyone has a link to any standard pool construction codes, I would love to educate myself (i understand that local codes may vary).

Any help would be appreciated.

See section 704 for minimum deck width of 48 inches. You need to find out what applies in your area.

I knew there had to be a requirement for this, was struggling to find anything. I will try my best to find the local version of this code, but either way this is a great starting point.
