My booster pump was making a foul noise earlier this spring, sounding like a bearing was going out. I've had it shut off for a couple months and we just vacuum as needed to keep the bottom clean.
This weekend I turned on the booster pump just to verify the noise and try to troubleshoot some more, and it won't even turn on. It acts like it's seized.
My question is this: how difficult is it to swap out a pump? I have a Jandy AquaLink control board. I've done electrical work and am pretty handy and just hate to pay someone to do what I can do. Anyone had to do this?
