Flow switch issues
Bought this switch Sept 2022: Amazon.com
Bought this switch August of 2023 : Amazon.com

Both died:

I am wondering if I am installing wrong. I know they are marked with arrows showing the flow and I made sure the sensor was placed accordingly.
Not 100 % sure the alignment was 100% perfect but at least 98% because its hard to align perfectly to avoid over or under tightening.
Not sure if the short circuit is related to the no flow
So what is the most reliable flow switch for the Aqualogic and am I missing something?

Looked at Pool Guy and they are all aftermarket which I had bad luck with.

BTW is the short circuit fault because the switch is stuck in the closed position?

I ordered more of the "low quality junk stuff" from Amazon just so I can get it tomorrow. I will order Hayward products also but they will arrive latter. No recent lightning in this area. I am going to guess that if these issues are unreleated than a "short circuit in water sensory" would not stop pump and trigger a no flow situation. Right?
 
RATTLE
Replaced the temp sensor and flow switch with temporary cheap ones and all errors gone.
Interestingly the pump did not go on. It is a variable speed pentair and the indicator light on it was on. I pushed speed 2 and it primed and then settled down to 1500 rpm. I heard a rattle that did not seem to come from pump. The SWG has a rattle in it almost like there was a foreign body. I don't want to mess with it tonight and tomorrow I go to work. Would like to leave it on if the sound I described would have others tell me I should shut down. I do not know last time my pool person cleaned the swg.
