Hi guys!
I have a DE perflex filter. My pool water is beautiful crystal clear and my filter' s pressure stays wonderful through an 8 hour cycle. The problem I'm having is when I turn the system on I get about 45 seconds of milky water before the returns run clear. I have spots of a fine material on the pool floor that I think is de being released every time the filter starts. When taking the fingers apart and cleaning them I did notice some raggedy looking areas on some, but nothing that I would call a rip... does this look like we to you guys and do you think it's the areas that are older looking causing this?
