My Jandy DEV48's drain cap broke. My pool equipment is underground so water flowed out of the filter for about an hour before i noticed it. The filter was just cleaned last week. Obviously I've lost a lot of DE....but not sure how much. After replacing the cap....Should I backwash and add 80 percent? Or should I just add more DE and if so how much DE?

I would say just do a normal backwash and add the DE you normally do. Or tear down the filter and clean and then do a full DE add.
