Hello, I can't get my water clear again after the last heavy rainstorm. The filter system is a copper ionizer. I tried Clorox bleach, shock, & the blue liquid ("for sparkling clear water") but nothing helps. The PH & Alkalinity levels are OK so is the copper level. HELP!

TFP doesn’t support the use of copper based systems as they are unable to sanitize the water properly. Copper isn’t able to protect you from viruses and bacteria, but will cause surface staining, hair discoloration, etc.
TFP methods are based on the simple science of free chlorine and it’s relationship via FC/CYA Levels.
You’ll need to be able to test yourself to follow the SLAM Process using a proper test kit.

Unfortunately you’re not set up currently to take this on as your copper system and lack of testing prevent you. But if you’re interested in getting a proper test kit and converting to chlorine-based sanitation, we’re here to help.
