My pool light is the usual sort of installation, about 10 inches in diameter and secured with a single screw at the top. The trouble is that all of the weight of the fixture is back behind the lens, and the whole thing is supported by the plastic ring around the lens, so it swings forward, pivoting around the screw. This results in the light being angled upward about 10 degrees, with a gap of about an inch around the bottom. I do not see how this could possibly work, since there is no provision for a screw at the bottom of the fixture.
What is supposed to keep the fixture tight against the side of the pool?
