I am a newbie of course! I accidentally spilled roughly 5-6 ounces of my Cyanuric Acid Reagent in my above ground pool. What do I do? Is it going to hurt my pool or ourselves? My total gallons is 2893. I tried googling, but apparently no one has mad this mistake… as I couldn’t find anything.

Hi and welcome to TFP! So glad you found us to help you keep your pool clean and to keep your family safe.

The total amount of reagent compared to the total amount of water in your pool makes the mistake a non-problem. No need to worry about it. The pool water is great enough to dilute just about anything that gets in the water.

@leaurawagner you fit in just fine around here! LOL

Now lets get your details all lined up. Can you please fill in your "signature"? That is what you see at the bottom of most of our posts. It is the details of your pool and test kit. This helps us help you not that it seems as if you need our help since you already have a test kit! WELL DONE!
