cyanuric acid or calcium?

I have a bucket of what is either cyanuric acid or calcium…..I didn’t label this ;(



Any way to test or confirm either way?

Fill a 5 gal bucket with water & test the ch.
Dissolve some in the bucket of water.
Then test the water for ch again.

*It looks a little chunky for cya to me.


.25 oz is about 1.5 tsp

Caution - Do not mix calcium in a small bucket of water. Calcium is exothermic and will generate heat when mixed with water to where it can cause burns or fires.

If the water gets hot when you add the chemical then it is calcium.
