Cyanuric Acid Kit

Please ignore the dirt at the bottom, we are vaccuming tomorrow. Also it was a bit rainy.

EDIT: After adding everything to pool math it is recommending i put, 6.5oz of Dichlor to get to 5FC.

IF you are going to believe the strips, as that is all you have, then your CYA is fine. Add bleach. Dichlor will just raise your CYA.

Alright, I will be buying bleach tomorrow. Will adding 6.5oz of Dichlor make a big difference? Or should I just not risk it at all and wait ?
Also, do you suggest I lower the TA ?

EDIT : And what bleach percentage do you suggest I buy ?

You can add the dichlor today, but try not to make it a daily maintenance method.
I assume you are using the 50 ppm CYA in Poolmath.
TA will lower with pH management. It does not effect anything being that high in your pool.
Get the strongest concentration bleach you can find. No scents, not splashless, etc.

I have just set it 50 instead of 40ppm. 9.7oz for tonight, test results tomorrow. I will be amazed if I actually see the difference in my kits. It would be the first time that I will use a calculation to reduce something such us FC ppm.
I will be buying bleach tomorrow !
Thank you very much guys. Really appreciated.

I will try to find one kit in the UK where I have a friend coming over in a month or so. Hopefully there is something available. CYA is available in my country yes.
I have read that CYA in general is not found in water pool without adding it and I believe my chlorine doesnt have any inside is dichloro 55% ASTRAL brand. So i guess adding CYA will be the number i put from pool math. Also i have read that it can not be reduced so I will continue with that?

Edit: We have just SLAM the pool so I am waiting for it to calm down to get correct measures and pH levels right before I continue to that.
CYA is also referred to as chlorine stabilizer, and might be the only thing in a pool store worthy of getting. Just be sure to read the dosage instructions on the label, and only add 1/2 to 2/3 the recommended amount. If your CYA tests zero, it usually means the cyanuric acid level is too low to be detected, but not truly zero. There is such thing as too much CYA, as it binds up your chlorine and raises the FC point at which your pool will eat algae. A level of 30-40 is suitable for most pools.

Another source of CYA is pool shock, because for some reason, they still include CYA in this product. Most folks learn this the hard way after they've dumped 3 bags of shock in their pool to clear their water, and it turns dark green with algae. So only add CYA when you have the ability to test for it accurately and to monitor your FC reading. I'd find the closest location that you can get a Taylor 2006c test kit delivered from Amazon.com. Tel-Aviv, maybe?

I just had a huge argument with an employee at the store I buy pool stuff, they did not know what CYA is, or a stabilizer or cyanuric acid is. I seriously just bought my strips and left.
I looked everywhere and I cant find the kit anywhere, pretty rare in europe.
We will continue with bleach.
Cheers

Have you tried searching for some of the non Taylor test kits in Europe that include the fas-dpd chlorine test?. I feel like there used to be a Palin brand?
I have searched every keyword you can imagine to find an fas-dpd test. Nothing no-where. Not amazon not ebay not google. I had found a post for European countries kits, in TFP, but nothing or at least not for 100euros at least for one single test.
