Turns out I need to SLAM my pool. FC is 0.5 and CC 1.5. It’s clear but cloudy. When I didn’t CYA test, I could still see the black dot, it wasn’t completely invisible. When using pool math to determine how much CYA I need to add, do I use “0” for my current CYA level ?

If the dot is just barely visible then call it 10 ppm and add enough to get to 30 ppm. Run the SLAM Process and once all three criteria are met to complete it then retest your CYA and adjust from there to your normal target.
