Cya has tested 100 three times now.
Had to take a two day break from drain/fill due to work. Happy with the improvement, can’t wait to see the water bill 😂.
Chlorine holding perfectly with no cc
Ph looks over 8
Put a bit of ma in to reduce
Waiting 30 min adding chlorine and ahhsome
Wish me luck
*flakes not visible today but it’s very sunny can see them better when not as bright out

Hi,

So put in the ahhsome as directed.
Waited two days backwashed for 5 min
Tested Chems , so I am here ….
Fc 21.5
Cc .5
Ta 300
Ph 8
Cya 100
Question is what next? Could ph be a skewed read since fc is so high? I believe the ta to be accurate as we have added so much fresh water the last few weeks.

Maybe nothing until we are finished with the drain/fills?
Closing in 10 days
Thanks

Still open to input here.
The ahhsome seems to have cleared my wwm (what was left if it anyway)
The pressure gauge didn’t raise at all after using it but I backwashed it for 5 min anyway. Pool has been closed since Sunday (last post)
Today
Fc 17.5
Cc 0.5
Cya 100.
Ta 325
Ph 7.7 (darker than 7.6 lighter than 7.8)

Actually I think I got it figured with the pool calculator

Reduce the ph to 7.0 using acid them aerate to increase ph
But if someone could confirm where my fc needs to stay with cya 100 I’d appreciate it.

Thanks

Ph is skewed by 10+ FC. Don't adjust it until the FC is 9.5.or less.

If the CYA is a true 100 now, minimum is 8 and target range is 11 to 13, factoring in your recent daily loss to remain above min before the next dose.

We'll address the TA in the spring once you've drained more if needed to further lower the CYA at that time.
