I put cyuronic acid in my skimmer baskets using the pantyhose method A week and a half ago. Unfortunately they painted the bottom of my pool the wrong color so I had to drain the pool. I took this cyuronic acid that was in the pantyhose and put it in a bucket in my garage. It sat there for approximately one week and now I put it back in my pool. Do you think there was any harm done to the chemical? I put 8 pounds in a couple days ago and my levels are still not showing up on my test kit.

If I understand correctly, you pre-dissolved stabilizer in a bucket before adding to your pool correct? It all dissolved & liquefied? If so, then that 8 lbs should've increased it by just over 30 ppm. Can you post a full set of test results so we can see if anything else odd is happening to the water?
