Recently added stabilizer (CYA) to pool, by hanging sock with about 2lbs of CYA over a return. After a couple of days, CYA was completely dispersed. But noticed considerable debris of some sort in my skimmer socks. After cleaning skimmer socks, noticed some numbness in my fingers. My question is - could that debris in my skimmer socks be CYA?

Any granules of CYA that might have come through the sock would have dropped to the pool bottom. They do not float very well.
I doubt the substance in the skimmer socks was CYA.
