So at the beginning of the season I tested cya and it was around 20 after opening. I put in about a pound and a half to try and get it up around 35-40. It made it to about 30. I tested it again a few weeks later and decided to raise it with another pound and a held to get it to 40. Perfect! Was showing right at 40. Just tested again and now it’s closer to 30 again. Can’t figure out why I keep losing it. Kinda nervous to keep adding in fear that I’m doing something wrong. Thanks.

Thanks for the article. Pretty confident there is no peak. However, water is currently around 87 naturally because of the amount of sunlight it’s exposed too. Sooooo, maybe it’s just pure degradation??? Didn’t realize CYA would do that. So, do you just keep adding throughout the summer?
