Also just tested CYA for first time reading was well over 100. Doubled water in test as suggested in another article and still was over 100 so doubling result would put it over 200. Did a 60% water change today and test tonight still well over 100. PH 7.2 before and after change. No FC reading yet.

Been there. You're lucky. When I moved in, we were under severe water restrictions and I couldn't drain and replace that year. I will tell you from firsthand experience that it's much nicer to maintain at 50 CYA.
