CYA Formula

I hear so much about draining a pool to lower CYA levels. Is there a formula that exist based upon pool size (gallons), inches of water drained, equating to ppm CYA lowered.

It's a percentage not inches. Want to lower the CYA 50%, drain 50% of the water.
