I fear I will now be pretty critical about the water quality when visiting other pools!

I took the kids to a wave pool yesterday and really noticed that I needed goggles whereas I can swim with my eyes open in our TFP pool for an hour or so without sore eyes. Noted the chlorine smell too.

Your pool looks awesome. Congrats on getting it back to looking so great.

TFPC water is amazing for eyes for sure. Here's a good bit of knowledge from a swim instructor as well...

The most useful thing that goggles do is stop kids from rubbing their eyes. Sun reflecting off the water is a big part of it as well.
