For my first time adding CYA to new hot tub (inflatable type, 250gal) I forgot that CYA is best added in a sock in front of the return... Totally just tossed 1.5 oz of granules straight into the tub. After letting the bubbles run for a couple of minutes, the granules are just in piles along the floor.
Am I in immediate danger of harming something if I can't these dissolved ASAP?

I was thinking I could run my pole transfer pump and recirc the water where the granules are until they are dissolved. Any other ideas?

This is fun! Thanks.

CYA is a mild acid. It probably will not do anything to the floor of your inflatable tub.

Push it around with a pool brush to help it dissolve. Heat up the spa, as the stabilizer will dissolve better in warmer water.

I have a little aquarium net that I use in the spa and would probably attempt to retrieve as much as possible & transfer it to a sock/panty hose.
Also consider using dichlor next time to chlorinate with until cya becomes 30ppm then switching to liquid chlorine.
As Its a bit hard to deal accurately with such small amounts of stabilizer.
