I added some liquid stabilizer to increase my CYA yesterday - it went from 35-65. I have 80% UV screen on my cage. Is this number for CYA ok? Or should I increase again to get it to 70 minimum. It could be 70 already as it’s hard to tell when that little black dot has actually disappears. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Let’s say for argument sake it’s between 60&70… also should I keep my FC where it is with a cya level this low? The table says that’s ok but it also tells me 60 CYA isn’t recommended. I’m confused!!!

You mean 40-70.

Your CYA is already at 70. We round up.

The scale between the lines is logarithmic, not liner and you can't judge valves between the lines. If the dot disappears between 70 and 60 we round up and call it 70.

You are good.

Ahhh! Round up. Ok. Thanks. Never sure when the dot actually disappears so didn’t realize. This makes sense

If the CYA is somewhere between 60 and 70, round up and just call it 70. Use the FC/CYA Levels to keep FC with in range for your CYA.Can

Why has my CSI changed so much? How can I get it back to 0? Or closer to 0? Pebbletec says it’s really important and I’m still under warranty.

Let your pH rise towards 7.8 to raise your CSI.

You will find PebbleTec gives you an impossible set of water chemistry requirements to meet.

Ok. Yes their numbers soon crazy. I added acid yesterday, so it will be back up by tomorrow. Appreciate the help. Thank you.
