CYA and tablets

Hello all. I know I saw this here before but I can’t find it.
My pool is perfect. I love the TFP system and feel I really have a great grasp of my pools chemistry. That said I’m going on vacation for a week days. My 17 year old son will be home (if that’s a good idea or not is a topic for another discussion lol) he can take care of the pool but I’d like to float a few tablets also just in case he forgets. When I opened my pool this year the CYA was pretty low (30) so I have some room to let it come up a little. I’d like it to be no more than 40. my question is how many 3” tablets would it take to get there? Since I’ve taken out the old chlorinator I plan to buy one of those cheap floaters.
16,000 gallon plaster pool. I didn’t see a calculation for this on pool math.
Thanks for any help.

FYI -- you can use up to 5 tablets to keep CYA increase under 10.

So my CYA finally went below 30 or let's say to zero. I have added 6 tablets to the chlorinator ( I have only used liquid for the last two years), so those 6 probably are not going to raise it much? In 2 weeks it still doesn't register at all.

6 tabs in your pool will raise it about 13ppm once they are all dissolved.
