CYA all dissolved from sock but not showing on test. Can I slam?

Hi just hoping for a quick sanity check as I start to slam my pool.

I've taken it from swamp status to green pool status with manual vacuuming.

CYA was zero. I added enough to go to about 35 using the pool math calculator and sock method.

It's not showing up on the test yet. It shows maybe 10 or so. I understand this is normal.

Can I slam now or should I wait until it starts showing the full level when I test?

Start the SLAM Process now.
Use 40 ppm CYA for your FC level.
