CYA addition not showing up on strips?

Hey All I added 16oz of granular CYA 2 days ago and today when testing my strips show no change in level. Had been showing 0 CYA.
I have an above ground Intex pool it’s roughly 5,000gal.
PH- 7.4
TA-120
FC-2 or 3 ppm
Can I trust strips or not? They’re dated 2024 and they the AquaCheck 4n1 strips.

No. Test strips are guess strips. Completely useless.

You need a proper test kit. I suggest the TF-100 or Taylor K2006C. A proper test kit is needed to get the accurate water chemistry results needed to follow the TFP protocols.

Test Strip instructions should read as follows:

Remove test strips from packaging. Insert directly into garbage.
