Looking to power a remote WiFi switch from a Jandy AUX (RS4 with 2 spare AUX). I’ve read the Jandy manuals, and while can see relays drawing 100mA the note also shows the 2 speed relay consuming 200mA. Want to know how much current can I source without blowing the driver chips?
The device I have is a 4 channel switch from Amazon, similar to to SonOff (but cheaper, $18). I’m using it to control/replace the SPA switch which is causing my control panel issues. Right now under testing it’s powered by a 5v usb cable, but I want to hardware it into an AUX if possible (yes I could add a 120 outlet to the panel and leave the PSU). Max draw from the device is <200mA, while nominal draw is 115mA (tested connected to a 9v battery).
Thx
Mark
