A bit confused about CSI and wanted some input. PoolMath tells me the range should be -0.60 to 0.60. However, it also says you should avoid below -0.3 for prolong periods of time to prevent corrosion to plaster, tile, stone, and pebble pools.

1) Am I ok to be between -0.60 to -0.30 for a vinyl pool?

2) How about a Spa? Not sure what exactly the material of the Spa shell is but definitely is not plaster, tile, stone, and pebble.

CSI does not matter if you have a vinyl or fiberglass pool.

CSI does not matter for an acrylic spa.

CSI only matters for plaster surfaces and tile with grout.
