CSI - 1.36

A pool cleaning company that was doing a free 30 day service for our new pool. I tested this morning and my PH was 7.8. The tech that came by added 1/2 gallon of acid which lowered my acid to 6.6 and TA to 60!!!!

Now my looking good CSI is a big negative number.

I turned on my deck jets , spa mode and activated the air blower and turned on the spillover. How long will aeration take to raise PH to normal levels?

No worries. Raise your pH with 20 Mule Team Borax (use poolmath) and do nothing for your TA.....60 is fine

well I kept the aeration going from 2:45pm to 4:33Pm and now my PH is 7.5. I have big drops of water hitting the pool, the return jets breaking the surface with an RPM of 3450, The deck jets are peaking over some of the trees so there is allot of of big droplets hitting the water at a good pace.
