Hello. I have been supporter for more than a year now and have found trouble-free pool very informative and useful. I am in Missouri and near the end of September will be closing my pool. I have several concerns regarding cracks listed below and want to address them temporarily until I can afford a renovation of the pool.

I have a 25,000 gallon in ground pool that has plaster up to the concrete coping. I have cracks between the coping and plaster at where I believe the seam is with the coping. In some areas there appear to be some form of sealant applied by the previous owner. What can I use to reseal or caulk this?

I also have a severe crack in the coping at the deep end of the pool where the previous owner had a diving board. It is steadily getting worse and I want to effect a repair until we can do a renovation. Would plaster in this crack suffice as a temporary repair?

The coping itself appears to have been painted. I do not know what type of paint was used and would like suggestions for repainting it. Can some one provide a suggestion as to what type of paint I should use, when I should paint it and how the paint should be applied?

The seams between the coping in some area of the pool are cracking. Should I worry about these at all or simply paint these when I applied paint?

Thanks ahead if time for any help. I will post pictures
