Cracked Thru-Wall Skimmer

Still pretty new pool owner with a very old pool. Just opened the pool today for the year. I don't know anything about pool standards really. So my questions are;

Are they standard? Mine is very old, can I just get a new one and it still fits because of standards or no?

If they are standard would this be a decent one? Strapped on cash, good reviews, Amazon Prime, etc.

For reference, my current one is " Doughboy Standard Thru-Wall Skimmer Model 2091-03".

How big a crack? If you want to try a cheap fix, buy some JB Water Weld epoxy for $5 and repair the crack. You can decide later to replace if needed.

I just found out because its a doughboy it isn't standard. it is a very large crack, about 10 inches.

10" long? How wide? If it is long and not very wide, I would try the repair. Are you able to separate the crack, or use a clamp to hold it together?
