long time lurker here. I’ve used this site as my go to for information for the past 5 years I’ve had my pool. Tonight I noticed my tank was cracked on my Hayward s166t pro system. I got this system off a local pool store on a returned install, and up until this year it has served me well. So far this year i have rebuilt the vair flo and installed new latterals. I have done quite a bit of maintenance on it and have debated on if it’s even worth buying a new tank or moving to a cartridge filter. The tank itself is almost $400.
The filter is hooked up to a power-flow xl pump. Looking for recommendations of cartridge filter that can hook up to my existing pump and 18’x52” pool.
Thanks!

Hi, welcome to TFP! If you fill in your signature with your pool information that will help us suggest the size filter you may need. Just noticed you have an AGP, but we would still like you to complete the signature info. Thanks!

Contact Hayward. You probably qualify for a free out of warranty replacement. We've seen quite a few haywards with cracked tanks this year. All were replaced free of charge. They had a bad batch of tanks at some point.
