Crack in plaster, 4+ years old.

Just noticed this crack this morning. Haven't used the spa in months but keep the water clean and balanced. I'm guessing it isnt good to leave it and it will get worse. Any advice? Pool was done in Nov. 2020

The crack does not look very deep.

You can patch some plaster on it.

Sounds kind of hollow in the little area around it so I think the more I mess with it the worse it will get. Is this a DIY thing or time to call a pro for an evaluation? The builder of course took the money he made in Cali and moved to Texas

If it is not leaking water or getting worse I would not open up a can of worms.

Patch it and keep an eye on it.

It doesn't leak at this time. I think the paster is super thick in the spa because the jets are actually more recessed than I think is normal.

Update: Thanks for the advice but I wasn't confident in my plaster skills with 0 experience. Called out a pool plaster repair man recommended by a coworker. $300 later it's fixed. He completely cut out that piece and patched with new plaster. Also said the plaster looks fine for it's age, it's just a failure. They happen sometimes, not a sign of any huge issue. Hopefully I'm good for a few years or more.
