CoverLink Wireless Control TouchPad Blinking Red

One of my two CoverLink Wireless touchpads started blinking red after I replaced the batteries, and it does not seem to respond to any button. Any ideas? Thanks you.

Thanks YippeeSkippy, yeah I have the manual but the troubleshoot does not mention any red blinking light. I know the receiver is okay because my other remote works fine.
